The Village Playground

Thank you for all your support with The Village Playground. It was amazing to see over 100 volunteers join their time with your financial commitment to make this dream a reality. The weekend of June 25th over 100 volunteers came together to construct a 6,000 square foot playground in loving memory of Mike McCormick. Your generosity has helped create a place where children can grow and families can heal. We are so honored by your tremendous investment in the lives of single mothers and their children. We also want to express our deepest appreciation to the McCormick Family, Stowers Machinery, Hedstrom Design, Knoxville Fellow and all the volunteers who brought this space to life!

The playground build is fast approaching! Today the femce is installed and now we need your help to finish it up. Come out this Fri and Sat!

Look what just arrived for the new playground at The Village! The swings are here! The big build is just two weeks away! We are so grateful to all those who are helping make this dream come to reality for children of single mother families and in memory of Mike McCormick!

This past Saturday friends from Apostles Anglican Church spent 16 hours installing the gazebo as the centerpiece of the new playground! We are so excited about getting the rest of the playground equipment installed on June 27th. We are a third of the way toward our fundraising goal! Thank you for all of your support. If you know of others would like to help make a difference in the lives of children at The Village please share this with them!

Check out the CAT play structure that is getting custom built in Colorado to honor Mike McCormick, who served at Stowers Machinery for over 25 years! We can't wait to have this installed at The Village Playground on June 27th.
