Thank you to all of the kindness and generosity of so many family and friends (loved ones as mom likes to say), between the two ways to donate that we set up we have reached the "goal" we set to help mom and dad. And saying that it is appreciated doesn't begin to scratch the surface. I could spend the next 90 minutes writing down all the goodness that has been done for them and for our family in the last 2 weeks. Thank you for helping us and most especially thank you for praying for our mom (and dad).

An email from dad and mom:
Loved ones:
Thanks to all your prayers and support we'll be heading home much happier.
We checked out with the doctor this morning and got the pathology report. Not only did they not find any cancer outside the endometrial lining, the totality of the cancer they did find evaluated to a grade 2 instead of a grade 3, meaning radiation is not recommended.
Instead Peggy will be doing intensive regular followups in Dallas on a pretty constant schedule to verify that she remains cancer free. The specimens will be rechecked for a second opinion in Dallas and the doctor there will set the followup schedule but we were told at least monthly for the first 90 days, every 90 days for a year and semi-annually after that.
We have clearly felt and seen the hand of the Lord in answer to all your prayers. Thank you for all your love and prayers. We feel so blessed to be in this place and time surrounded by all of you.

We all were able to talk to mom and dad via google chat tonight. She is tired and in pain, but doing well. The prognosis will not be given until hopefully Monday, but as far as the surgeon himself could see (and from the MRI), the cancer has not spread. Today we literally saw a miracle happen which was because of so many prayers that were offered for her. THANK YOU. As soon as she is a little more "alert", we'll have her read all your messages/posts. It's been a happy night.

Mom will have her CT scan first thing in the morning followed by surgery at noon. It will be the step to finding out where the cancer is at. We will be praying all day for the oncologist working with her and for her to feel peaceful.
