Update #7

Does anyone see my campaign? I chose not to include my Facebook. Only because I would be made to feel like a bum to those on my FB. Perhaps that's all in my mind. Wouldyou give a like or message that you see this or is this only effective with twitter and FB. who knows?

Update #6

I'm going to share my business plan
Clara’s People and Animal Farm

Executive Summary

Mission Statement: To establish a sanctuary that provides a safe haven for rescued animals and affordable housing for elderly and disabled individuals, fostering a compassionate community where both animals and humans can thrive together.

Organizational Overview

Structure: Form a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to facilitate fundraising and grant acquisition.

Board of Directors: Assemble a diverse board with expertise in animal care, social services, and nonprofit management.

Services Offered

1. Animal Sanctuary: Rescue and rehabilitate animals in need, offering them a permanent, loving home.

2. Affordable Housing: Provide refurbished RVs as affordable housing solutions for elderly and disabled individuals on fixed incomes.

3. Community Support: Offer transportation services, such as a community van, to assist residents with errands and appointments.

Market Analysis

Community Needs: Research local demographics to assess the demand for affordable housing and animal rescue services in your area.

Existing Services: Identify gaps in current services to position your organization effectively.

Marketing and Outreach Strategy

• Community Engagement: Host events and workshops to raise awareness and build community support.

• Online Presence: Develop a website and utilize social media platforms to share stories, updates, and fundraising campaigns.

• Partnerships: Collaborate with local businesses, veterinary clinics, and social service agencies to expand your network and resources.

Operational Plan

Facility Requirements:

• Land Acquisition: Secure a parcel of land suitable for housing both the animal sanctuary and residential RVs.

• Infrastructure: Develop necessary facilities, including animal shelters, communal areas, and utility hookups for RVs.

Staffing and Volunteers:

• Animal Caretakers: Hire experienced staff or recruit volunteers to manage daily animal care.

• Resident Support: Provide assistance to residents, including transportation and daily living support.

Financial Plan

Funding Sources:

• Grants: Explore grants such as the Appalachian Community Grant Program, which offers funding for community development projects in Ohio’s Appalachian region.

• Donations: Launch fundraising campaigns targeting individuals and organizations passionate about animal welfare and elder care.

• Merchandise Sales: Sell memorial stones and custom address stones to generate additional revenue.

Budget Projections:

• Startup Costs: Estimate expenses for land acquisition, RV procurement, facility construction, and initial operational costs.

• Ongoing Expenses: Account for utilities, animal care supplies, staff salaries, and maintenance.

Sustainability and Growth

Program Development:

• Therapeutic Activities: Implement programs where residents can engage with animals, providing therapeutic benefits for both.

• Community Garden: Establish a garden to supply fresh produce for residents and animals, promoting sustainability.

Expansion Plans:

• Additional Housing: As resources allow, acquire more RVs to accommodate additional residents.

• Educational Programs: Offer educational workshops on animal care and sustainable living practices to the broader community.

Conclusion

Your vision of creating a compassionate community for both humans and animals addresses critical needs in your area. By following this structured plan and leveraging available resources, you can turn your dream into a reality that benefits many.

Update #1

Hello, My name is Jeremy. I feel like a fool and like I’m probably wasting my time typing this out. Please forgive my grammar it is not good at all. I have seen a video that said people on this site love to help people out. I haven't had too much kindness shown to me going on 21 years. I live in Appalachia and in the mid-to-late 90’s Pharmaceutical companies were paying doctors in my kickbacks for every prescription written. Well, I was a dreamer and I and everyone else knew that I was going somewhere. Unfortunately, I never made it. Beginning of summer my junior year. I was an idiot and cut my finger off with a riding lawn mower. I know, I know. Anyway, they reattached the tip of my finger then gangrene set in and I lost the tip anyway. Well, my family doctor prescribed Xanax and oxycodone. That was it, the next the next 14 years were hell for me and my family. Addiction took my mother from me, it almost took my sister and I had tried to end my life a couple of times due to my addiction and lack of help. You have to remember the was late 90’s early 2000s. I was looked down on by everyone. I will say It was extremely hard for me to get and most importantly stay clean. Well, I can say That I’ve been sober the same length of time that I used coming up on 14 years. I thought you should know that about me.
Here is my wish. I would love to have an old farm and farmhouse. I would turn it into an Animal Mortuary and graveyard on part of the lot. Then I’d love to create a farm of rescued animals. Dogs, cats any animal that needs a home. Then on the furthest end, I would buy older RV’s that no longer run and have pulled to my property where I would first start with a home for me, one rent for my sister. Then I would buy more clean them out and redo them. Where I would help elderly or handicapped on a fixed income a home and someone to help them out, by whatever means necessary. Purchase a van so if they need to go to the store we can take them. This has been my dream for the last 10 years. Ofcourse things have been added. I make memorial stones for dogs, people. Then I make address stones and front porch stones with sports emblem and last names. Thats where part of my dream came from. Have you been Homeless? I have, My sister has she has 2 years clean. I would love to be able to help as much as possible. This is my dream. I don’t want a mansion, farm house for the dogs and a old Rv for me.
If you can’t make the whole dream happen. Even if I had a small piece of land with enough room for myself and my sister. It’s just me and her. We do have a father but he would never help. Infarct he left his will out. When both me and my sister were there. He took us out and left it for us to read. That should answer any questions about parents. I just want a home of my own. I know, Ir’s a bit much of a dream but I have faith that God will put it on someones heart if he chooses. Thank you very much for reading my story and about my life. Please leave your negative comments with yourself. Again, Thank you.

Jeremy
