As of 12-14-18, thanks to your donations, we have fixed the roof, gotten the gas and electricity turned on, purchased insurance, paid the taxes, and done some other odds and ends to get it ready. The next big push is to do some work on the foundation and start getting some furniture and other materials for interior work such as interior doors to secure prisoner mail, a step ladder, some tarps, etc. At this time, raising another $4k should be enough to get us well on the way to meeting these two goals (foundation and setting up the workspace). Furniture and materials will be salvaged or purchased used whenever possible. Foundation work will be given to ex-prisoners.
Many thanks to the Reale Justice Network for working with us to find an amazing ex-prisoner project manager who can help us get this work done and who will also assure that we are giving as much work as possible to ex-prisoners.

We will be adding information and prices to this list as we start getting estimates from people for materials and / or labor.
#1 These items are critical:
Furnace (there is a furnace, it might or might not work, the ductwork is in good shape)
In progress! Fix foundation - Get house jacks, jack house up and make it level, put wood beams in basement to hold it level, needs some brick and mortar outside around the base of the house - We will have an estimate anytime for this, the work will be done by a recently freed person who did not have any work prospects until now :)
In progress! Doors and Windows Phase 1 - Fix front door frame, block off side door - Got new door knobs and deadbolts installed on front and back doors on 11/2, spent $36.92 on parts and $30 on labor - currently we have one operational door so that is good enough for now.
In progress! Work with lawyer to transfer the house to a trust - Lawyer gave us info on how to set up an LLC and told us let him know when we have that part done, no cost so far
Done! Inspect and turn on electricity (inspector came on 11/5, told us to make one small repair, passed inspection, spent $50 for the permit, $135 for the repair)
Done! Inspect and turn on gas - Gas was turned on 11/5, $32 connection fee, $22.13 for the first bill
Done! Tree trimming - Tree was leaning over neighbor's property and power lines, spent $200 getting tree fixed
Done! Annual property taxes, paid $305.36 on 12/04/18
Done! Put roof braces in attic - spent $51.62 on wood, hardware, and dust masks, labor was donated
Done! Get insurance, paid $370 for one year worth
#2 These are the second round of very important items:
Fire extinguishers
Internet
Phone
Inspect and turn on water (this may or may not be a nightmare)
Fix a small patch of siding on the front
Doors and Windows Phase 2 - Get security doors and burglar bars
Accessible ramp
Install accessible bathroom - Build a wall or door for bathroom
Interior doors with locks
Air conditioner
Water heater
Soffets for roof
Inspect roof - there are no leaks, but we have not walked the roof yet
#3 These are things that should be done at some point:
It would be nice to build a utility shed someday for a lawn mower and other things that shouldn't really be inside the office area
Small stackable washer and dryer
Utility sink
Fix a 5" hole in the floor
Re-build front porch
Remove dead tree in front yard
