Within me is the documented true story of Carol Elizabeth Moses, a young girl caught between her own insecurities and impulses while being puppeted by the spirit of Incubus.
“Incubus”-(meaning) a male in demon form that sexually assaults woman and little girls while asleep
Carol, a free-spirited, curious child with an old soul, who journeys through life while experiencing and being guided by a demonic presence that takes her through several life changing situations that could either make or break her.
On this journey, Carol is faced with obstacles that cause her to question her very existence. Are the choices she has made from within or from the outside spiritual forces? Forces that have grown with her throughout her life, in which she has often trusted and even loved.
Set to the backdrop of South Central LA. Carol was raised in a middle-class black family, the youngest of four girls. Carol, a small girl with an abundant personality....someone that everyone liked. The myth that children should be seen and not heard never applied to Carol. Even though she was loved by many, she suffered in silence with the truth that she wanted absolutely no one to know about.
She was presented with several situations that could have destroyed her. The feelings of not measuring up to her sibling, her desperate need to be accepted and believed
