The US National Poomsae Team will compete at the 10th World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships in Nov. 2015 in Ho Chi Minh Ciy, Vietnam. The trip is largely self-funded, so the athletes, the coaches, and the manager (52 in total) must pay for a large portion of their air travel, lodging, apparel, and other associated costs. The estimated total cost for the team is approximately $104,000, or $2000 per individual.

Although some athletes have organized private fundraisers for specific athletes or clubs, the US National Poomsae Team staff is taking this opportunity to raise funds for the team as a whole in an effort to help the team in a unified manner. Between private and team-based fundraising, we hope that each member will be able to defray most or all of their expenses and focus on giving a world-class performance!
This fundraiser is being organized by the Boston Taekwondo Project, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation dedicated to supporting Taekwondo athletes. Donations to this fundraiser are tax-deductible. All of the funds raised will go directly to support the 2014 US National Taekwondo Poomsae Team.
