FUNDRAISING AWARDS

Once registered, you will have a fundraising page set up for you.  Below are the various prizes awarded to fundraisers:

Bronze Participant ($100.00 - $249.00): Commemorative Epilepsy Walk Tote Bag

Silver Participant ($250.00 - $499.00): Commemorative Epilepsy Walk Tote Bag and branded reusable water bottle 

Gold Participant ($500.00 - $999.00) Commemorative Epilepsy Walk Tote Bag, branded reusable water bottle and one (1) Camper Sponsorship to Camp Candlelight 2014; send 4-7 children with epilepsy to experience our week long summer camp, 

Platinum Participant ($1,000.00 - $2,499.00): Commemorative Epilepsy Walk Tote, branded reusable water bottle, two (2) Camper Sponsorship to Camp Candlelight 2014; send 4-7 children with epilepsy to experience our week long summer camp, an indepth interview with Team Captain to be featured on Foundation website, social media platforms, youtube channel and monthly newsletter

FAQs

My whole family will be walking; do I have to register each individual person, even children? Yes. We strongly suggest you register your family as a team, thus enabling each individual the opportunity to fundraise as a member of the team and possibly earn walk prizes. In addition to building your team numbers, registering all attendees allows us to count our total attendance each year. 

How long is the Walk? Is this a race? The Walk is approximately 1.8 miles and is non-competitive. 

I checked that I want to decline walk rewards; will I still receive a t-shirt? Yes, each individual who registers will receive a t-shirt.

I am a Team Captain, what is my role? As a Team Captain you will recruit team members and register your team online.  The Team Captain encourages people to sponsor team efforts in the walk. In addition, the Captain will provide their team tips and pointers on how to fundraise for the Walk. 

I am the Team Captain, I raised all the money in my name with the help of my teammates; will they each receive gifts? Each walk participant is encouraged to raise funds individually to support their own efforts. We will provide tote bags for every $100 raised by a team based on their combined fundraising efforts. Any single team member who raises at least $100 will get a walk tote bag. 

I pre-registered online; do I still have to check-in at the walk? Yes, you must check-in on walk day, this also give you an opportunity to submit any donations you may still have and collect your Walk shirt. 

I registered online but donors have supported me via checks and cash, not by donating online? You can mail checks and cash to the EFAZ offices prior to the walk or turn in checks and cash the day of. Proceed to the pre-registration table, check in and turn in additional funds. If you are mailing, our address is:
