For the last several years the Amherst Boots and Saddles club has tried to raise funds for those in our community that needs help. Last year I got on a bull at the Little Britches Rodeo to try and raise money to help this cause.
This year I have decided to raise as much money as I can to help those who need it. The Tomorrow River Area Community Kitchen (T.R.A.C.K.) is a joint community effort to help provide meals to those that are unable to or can not take care of their own food needs. This is a 100% local contribution, with nothing going to administrative costs, just to help provide the needed food and get it delivered to those in need.
If you are interested in coming out to witness my lunacy, feel free to come on out to the Amherst Fairgrounds on Saturday August 15, 2015 and I will once again hop on a 2000+ pound bull and attempt to hang on for the proverbial "8 second ride" The Little Britches Rodeo is fun for all ages, and is great entertainment! You can find out more about the Amherst Rodeo here. The show starts at around 11 am, and I will probably be riding around 2 pm, at the end of the performance. Get there early as to get a good seat and enjoy all of the young men and women engaging in a true American Sport.
I am asking you to help me out, and give what you are able. I will be sharing the video from this years ride (provided I am still in one piece) shortly after the event, for those of you that can't make it.
