About The Wellspring Project
The Wellspring Project is a collective of dancers and artists who have partnered together to give back to the global community. The first destination is to travel to Uganda, Africa this summer! We plan to use our abilities of dancing and teaching to reach out to all of the orphans and families affected from the trauma of Joseph Kony's Lord's Resistance Army and help them undergo the healing process through the art of dance.
We will also make ourselves available to anything else that comes along our way. This will include supplying and ministering in the churches and schools, reconstructing homes and town buildings, and most of all, showing unconditional love and undivided attention by spending quality time with each individual in our path.
The Wellspring Project will be partnering with existing organization "Soldiers for Christ"and assisting a ministry called Asanti Afrika to highlight the benefits of music and dance while preaching the gospel.
Our Goal
Our goal is to meet our target of $10, 000 to be entirely equipped to provide the people of Uganda with our aid.
- $1,000 will go to cover the costs of the children's school materials and fees
- $1,000 will go to buy new clothes and shoes for families with little income
- $1,000 will go to the existing small organizations that provide jobs to the townspeople
- $1,000 will go to cover the travel expenses and vaccinations for four individuals going to Uganda
- $1,000 will go to cover medical expenses for children and families with illness/disease
- $5,000 will go directly to finish constructing an upcoming preschool in the small town of Gulu
The Wellspring Project sends an abundance of gratitude for supporting us with the mission to Uganda this summer and we thank you ahead of time for truly changing the lives of families across the world. We humbly request prayers for our journey along with safe travels. God bless!
