Every January, Las Vegas becomes a center of technological innovation thanks to CES, the Consumer Electronics Show, which annually presents the world with a variety of bold and cutting-edge technologies. However, among them you can also find inventions that make you think: "What's the point?"
The world is rapidly developing and introducing more and more new and interesting things for our comfortable and fun life. For example, virtual reality, which has already been implemented by many leading online platforms with games such as Bettilt App Download. On this platform, you will be able to completely immerse yourself in the atmosphere and feel as integrated as possible in the entertainment. However, this does not surprise anyone, every year there are more and more strange but exciting novelties, which we will now talk about with you.
At CES 2024, you could see a number of amazing technologies that, although they seem eccentric, are capable of changing the way we think about the future. One such example is intelligent mirrors, which now not only reflect your face, but also analyze the condition of the skin, providing recommendations for care. These mirrors use artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to detect skin problems such as dryness, wrinkles or pigmentation and offer personalized solutions. Although the idea may seem excessive, it attracts the attention of cosmetics and technology lovers, because it can significantly improve appearance care.
Another technology that is both exciting and surprising is robotic pets. They are created for those who, for some reason, cannot keep real animals, but want to have company. These robots are able to imitate the behavior of real animals: they can purr when petted or respond to voice commands. Although they will not replace real pets, they can be an alternative for those looking for comfort and solace in the form of a safe and easy-to-maintain friend.
Also worth mentioning is the Urtopia e-bike with ChatGPT. According to the developers, users can communicate with their companion through a chatbot, and artificial intelligence helps to explore new routes and receive real-time information. However, some journalists believe that such a function rather distracts from the road than brings real benefit.
Other interesting novelties include innovative smart furniture that changes shape depending on the needs of the user. For example, sofas that can turn into beds, or tables that adjust their height and size. Such furniture is ideal for small apartments, where every centimeter of space is worth its weight in gold. Although the price of such furniture is still high, the technology definitely has great potential.
Another cool novelty is the Hyundai S-A2 Aerotaxi. Hyundai presented the concept of a "revolutionary" air taxi with the possibility of vertical take-off. Its maximum speed reaches 200 km/h, and the range on one charge is up to 65 kilometers, which should be enough for short city flights.
Gadgets for health monitoring, which have become even more personalized this year, deserve special attention. For example, intelligent toothbrushes that analyze the brushing technique and provide advice for improving oral hygiene. Another example is wearable devices that can analyze your sleep quality and even offer recommendations on the optimal time to wake up. Such technologies are already included in our everyday life, making it more convenient and healthier.
However, the authors of the review claim that such a flying vehicle, most likely, will not find its place in the real world. In their opinion, people will prefer more reliable and affordable cars without worrying about their safety.
Finally, one of the most surprising, but at the same time interesting innovations was the concept of "virtual clothing". This trend involves using augmented reality to change your look without having to buy actual clothes. Although the idea is still in its early stages of development, it is already exciting among eco-fashionistas as it can help reduce textile waste.
Thus, CES 2024 demonstrated once again that technology can be not only useful, but also surprising and eccentric, pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
