In addition to the heartbreak of losing Tanner, the Lynott's must come up with
$5,350 for surgery and hospital stay. If Tanner ever made you smile, please
consider donating!
Tanner's illness came as a shock and took his
life in 36 hours at the age of 7. In an effort to save him Brendan and Stacy
opted to have a blood transfusion and overnight surgery under the impression
Tanner would live much longer than he did. During surgery it was discovered
that he had 2 1/2 liters of blood in his abdomen and his spleen was covered in
tumors and falling apart. The Lynott's planned to bring him home Saturday and
wait to find out if it was cancerous or not and then determine what their next
options were. Everything happened fast and Stacy and Brendan made all decisions
based on Tanner being comfortable and out of pain, though they were led to
believe he was coming home the day after surgery. Saturday morning the Lynott's
were preparing for Tanner to come home when they got a sudden phone call that
Tanner had complications from the surgery and was taking a turn for the worse.
Within 5 minutes of their arrival, Tanner passed away. We are asking for
financial support from anyone who Tanner made smile to help his parents with
this financial burden they have been left to figure out.
