T-shirts for Nicaragua Kids Arts & Science Camp

Hi Friends and family,

Team Harmon was very close to returning as a family of three to San Juan de Oriente (SJO) this year with 3-4 other families, but alas it isn't our time to return this year. This will be the first Nicaragua ICE trip that I (Meredith) will not be on. We have mixed feelings of disappointment that we won't get to return this trip, but also have hope and excitement for the team that is going. Since it is all families going, fundraising is going to be challenging, so besides helping with some of the trip planning/advising, I'm helping with fundraising for the much anticipated camp t-shirts for 200 kids in San Juan de Oriente Nicaragua. The kids will participate in an Art and Science camp this year and I'm so excited for them to build volcanos, experiment with color, and launch compressed air rockets! The kids love the t-shirts and we've never had a year without them. So I'm looking for people to partner with me and the team of families hosting the Art & Science camp, to raise money to purchase the t-shirts for the kids! We've returned year after year and kids are still wearing t-shirts from years past!

* Camp is supporting a non-profit organization LA VIDA Education which run a library for local kids to have access to educational resources not readily accessible in their local schools.
