A note from Diane, his wife: Kenny has had T-cell lymphoma for 5 years. The last few months the lesions in his mouth became numerous and very painful, making it almost impossible to eat. Then 3 weeks ago he started losing vision in his right eye. He had a vitrectomy on 8/4/14 and then was admitted to HUP that same day for a work up with a team of docs. The eye biopsy and a mouth biopsy both showed T-cell lymphoma but a different, more aggressive kind then what he had before. Radiation to the right eye was started last Friday night and he received a dose Sat and again on Monday. On Tuesday 8/12 I was called and told that he was taking a turn for the worse. He was confused, having jerking movements in arms and legs, and was short of breath. To protect his airway he was intubated and placed on a ventilator. He remains sedated in the ICU. An MRI done last night shows a possible spot on the brain stem. Another Spinal tap was done tonight and results are pending. Please stop what you're doing and PRAY for this man who has been through so much in his life. PRAY that the cancer cells are eradicated with no ill effects on his cognition. PRAY that he comes back to me and his beautiful children. God is able to fix this situation. Please just PRAY xoxoxo Diane
