Our students love reading and arrive at school eager to visit the library and check out books. Please help me get new books into their hands quickly! After all, that's what gets them excited about reading.

As a school with mostly low-income students (95%), McBee doesn't have much money to buy new library books. A partial solution is to raise funds to be redeemed at FirstBook, a company committed to serving students like ours. They provide brand-new, recently published, books at an incredible value (often approaching 90% off), stretching the dollars to let our students enjoy books they otherwise couldn't. A donation of even $3.50 could buy a new book.
My goal is to raise $500 by October 16. This could mean between 100 and 150 new books on the shelves!
