As a school with mostly low-income students (95%), McBee doesn't have much money to buy new library books. A partial solution is to raise funds to be redeemed at FirstBook, a company committed to serving students like ours. They provide brand-new, recently published, books at an incredible value (often approaching 90% off), stretching the dollars to let our students enjoy books they otherwise couldn't. A donation of even $3.50 could buy a new book.

My goal is to raise $500 by October 16. This could mean between 100 and 150 new books on the shelves!
