Support Local Bakery Start-up

Growing up, the winter holidays were my favorite because my mom would always bake all kinds of goodies...cakes, pies, bread loaves, cookies, etc.,... I remember my brother and I would help her decorate the cookies and, of course, were the first ones to dig in! Lol.

Over the years, from cooking healthier foods to delicious desserts, the oven has become my best friend, in the kitchen. Which is why, I've come to a decision to start my own bakery! I'm super excited about it! Some things I'll be baking are cookies, cookie bars, muffins, and different breads.

I will start from home (under the Cottage Food Law) and serve locally. I will operate as take-out only. I will also partner with third-party delivery services such as Door Dash, Uber Eats, etc.,... I do have plans to purchase/lease a space in the future and create jobs for others who share my love for baking.

I need help with buying updated equipment, renovations for a food prep room, marketing, and supplies and ingredients:

Some equipment items I need are a standing cooler (about the size of a normal fridge), and a couple of standing mixers.

Renovations will include wall repair/painting and floor repairs.

Marketing will include the use of social media, as well as, booking and hosting tasting events.

Some supplies I will need are gloves, pastry boxes and bags for to-go orders, a label maker, foil, plastic wrap, and parchment paper.

Like many people, I've dibbled and dabbled with different business ideas. I've even worked in different fields of work, trying to find that "something" I enjoy doing. I've found that I'm happiest in the kitchen and enjoying baking. I would really love to share all of my kitchen creations with everyone, so please help me start my bakery!
