Dear friends, dear colleagues,

Today, we write to you with deep emotion to share the story of Adeline FIEFFÉ Dornélus, an extraordinary and courageous woman facing breast cancer. Adeline is a loving, generous, and devoted mother whose life has been significantly impacted by this challenging diagnosis.

In 2022, Adeline was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since that day, she has faced each stage of her treatment with incredible bravery. Due to the security situation in their home country, Haiti, Adeline and her husband had to move to Cuba in October 2023 in search of better medical care. She has undergone numerous chemotherapy sessions, which initially showed encouraging results. However, due to financial constraints, she had to interrupt her treatments, including the radiotherapy planned since last May. This unfortunate interruption has allowed the tumor to grow again, making each day increasingly difficult for Adeline, who now struggles to perform even the simplest household tasks.

The costs of these treatments are exorbitant and place an enormous financial burden on Adeline and her family. Medical expenses, frequent hospital trips, and necessary medications have become overwhelming. Additionally, Adeline had to stop working, and her husband's business collapsed due to the growing insecurity in their country, further worsening their financial situation.

This is why we are appealing to your generosity and launching this  fundraising campaign, with the goal of raising the necessary resources to cover the medical expenses and essential care Adeline desperately needs. Every contribution, whether small or large, will make a significant difference and provide crucial relief to Adeline and her family.
