I was a software engineer, thriving in my career, until I made the mistake of falling in love with an enabler led to incarceration. Losing my job was devastating, and I had to rely on unemployment benefits to survive. Those payments quickly ran out, leaving me struggling to rebuild from scratch. The tech world moves fast, and I feel left behind, trying to catch up with evolving skills while facing the stigma of my past. I’m determined to get back on my feet, but I need support to regain stability and restart my career in software engineering.
