ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED!!! Thank you to Peter Herrick for putting my fundraiser over the top!
I woke up this morning to a phone call telling me that Peter would be coming by with a check to cover the final amount needed to get me to the finish line!
What?! Huh?! Me?! Yeah?! OMG!!!! I am amazed, blessed, grateful, overjoyed, ecstatic, and ever so thankful for this amazing community! ❤
Next week I will be putting my ducks in a row and contacting iBOT by Mobius Mobility to order my new wheels and start my training for this amazing machine. Stay tuned for more pictures, videos, and my smiling (from ear to ear!) face

More Info

Chris Lopez has been a gracious, tireless, and influential part of the Free State Project and has earned the trust and adoration of many! Some FSP events are held at venues that are not easily wheelchair accessible, making Chris's attendance difficult. To manage stairs, Chris must be lifted from her current wheelchair and carried up and down the stairs in a process that is painful, uncomfortable, and potentially dangerous. With this fund, we are looking to support Chris's independence, comfort, and access by purchasing a state-of-the-art Segway iBOT PMD wheelchair that has the ability to climb stairs, curbs and many other obstacles including sand and snow.

We're off to a great start, with $5,635 already raised toward the ultimate goal of $40,000! Please help us get to the finish line.

Checked out the iBOT yesterday and had an amazing experience! Climbed up and down stairs, through sand, grass, and over curbs. Wow! What a difference this chair is going to make!
