The primary purposes of the Southeast Regional Area Health Education Center is to incress access to primary care health professionals. This can be accomplished by recruiting K-16 youth to health careers, identify and coordinate rotations for health students in clinics and retain clinical professions in rural and urban medically underserved areas.
Our center offers various opportunities to the communities we serve in southeast Michigan. Such as,
- Biomedical Career Advancement Program
- Behavioral Technician Program
- Dental Hygiene Exploration Workshop
- Detroit Pre-Medical Scholars Program
- Veterans Mental Health Conference
Funds raised will go towards scholarships and materials.
