The brothers of the Ohio Lambda chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon at Kent State University are pleased and proud to announce their participation in Delta Zeta's annual philanthropy, Lip Sync. This year the event will be held on Saturday March 1, 2014. The philanthropic event serves as an excellent opportunity for Kent State students and the sorrounding community to support and raise awareness and support for the hearing and speech impaired. All proceeds from this event will be channeled through the Delta Zeta Foundation and then distributed to their national partnerships:
Gallaudet University-A world leader in liberal education and career development for hearing impaired students.
The Starkey Hearing Foundation-Provides assistance to the world's underpriviledged hearing impaired children as well as alters the social consciousness regarding hearing and hearing matters.
The Painted Turtle Camp-Provides a year round, life changing environment for children with life-threatening and chronic diseases and their families.
Please help us achieve our chapter's personal goal of $1,000. With our goal, combined with donations raised by our fellow members of the Greek Community at Kent State University, we hope to surpass the amount raised last year at the 2013 Lip Sync of approximately $40,000.
Thank you for your time and generosity. Please feel free to direct any questions, comments or concerns to our Philanthropy Internal Chair Assistant:
