Making clean water accessible to communities in Kiburara, Uganda

I'm traveling to Kiburara, Uganda this August (11-25) with Sustainable Missions Inc. (SMI). We plan to repair 3 broken bore-hole wells and install 3 rainwater containment systems (RCS) at churches in various communities. Our intention is to install these systems in areas that currently have no access to clean water. Once implemented, they will provide clean water to approximately 12,000 people a day.
During the last SMI trip, the team partnered with community members to repair 2 wells and install 2 RCS's at the church's high school. Members of the community were involved in the entire process, including shopping for materials and building the system. Through this process, we hope to enable them to care for the wells and systems independently.
I need $2300 in order to cover the cost of travel and in-country expenses. I would appreciate any support you feel called to give. Even a small amount is helpful! Thank you for your consideration and prayers.
