My mother spent her life working on a farm and built two-bed home in Haiti, dreaming of one day returning to rest there. Sadly, she passed away before she could live in it and the 2010 earthquake destroyed the roof.
I left New York in 2020 and went back to Haiti to honor her dream and rebuild the home. I spent 3 years there and run out of funds by supporting an orphanage instead, I had to return to the states in 10/2023. I've been struggling to come up with the funds ever since. I'm ready to return to Haiti and try again, this time with 1/4 of the needed funds. I want to move back and live in the place she poured her heart into. I do not have enough resources and can’t finish it alone.
I’m asking for your help. Every donation will go toward materials and labor to restore her house her legacy, and my future home.
