Relief for friends of Kharkov

Greetings from the Rovenskyi’s. As many of you know my husband is from Ukraine. He moved here in 2014 leaving behind his family and friends. His beloved mother Ludmila resides in Kremenchuk. A small city that has remained safe for now. She has given up her small apartment to 5 people who fled the city of Kharkov on March 3rd. 

Here is the message I received from Ludmila….

Good afternoon, Abigail, March 3, 2022  I was visited by people from the city of Kharkov, which is being severely shelled today.  These people were forced to leave their comfortable homes and run from explosions and shelling to save their lives.  Today they are relatively safe.  This is my good friend Lyubov Repkina and her son Artem Repkin, their friends Vitaly and Tatyana Dorozhkina, Alexander Lunin.  They lived in the city of Kharkov and the Zalyutino area. 

Any small amount helps. The US dollar goes a long way in Ukraine and money is the best way to help out as we have no way of getting the goods they need to them. We would love to send them whatever we can collect by the end of next week.
