RED (Renew, Energize, and Donate Day) Day is Keller Williams' annual day of service. Since May of 2009 our entire company – from the US and Canada to our family abroad – sets aside the second Thursday of the month to Renew, Energize, and Donate within the communities we serve.
At the heart of Keller Williams’ culture is our shared commitment to community service. The immeasurable generosity of our team enables us to care for our own as well as our neighbors no matter the magnitude of what is needed.
This year, KWCP DC will be supporting two incredible organizations in the DMV community: I Support the Girls and DC Central Kitchen.
I Support the Girls
About the Organization: Founded by Dana Marlowe, ISTG is a nonprofit which collects donation of new/used bras and new sealed packages of tampons and maxi pads and distributes them to girls and women experiencing homelessness, victims of domestic violence, victims of sex trafficking, refugees, evacuees affected by natural disasters and more.
DC Central Kitchen
About the Organization: DC Central Kitchen is a nonprofit that combats hunger and poverty through job training and job creation. DCCK’s social ventures include serving scratch-cooked farm-to-school meals in DC schools, delivering fresh, affordable produce to corner stores in neighborhoods without supermarkets, and operating fast-casual cafes throughout DC.
