I'm raising money for Type 1 diabetes — specifically a nonprofit called Juvenile Diabetes No Limits (JDNL). They work with teens w/T1D thru a unique safe driving program — preparing them to be safe when becoming drivers!

Type 1 diabetes is a 24/7 chronic diseases affecting millions of people. JDNL works with these young people as they transition from childhood to adulthood -- where they have the opportunity to take control of their diabetes and do anything they want in life. The technology of today gives them this opportunity — more so than ever before. JDNL's motto is "No Limits" -- and essentially helping these young people be safe when they get the opportunity to 'hit the road' in cars, trucks and motorcycles. Their safety ensures they have the opportunities in life ... as well as ensuring those on the road are safe as well. It fits very well with the mission of the Hoka Hey Challenge which is:
"The mission of the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge, operated and presented by the Medicine Show LLC, is to provide participants with an opportunity to test their fortitude and determination. By facing and overcoming obstacles along the way, participants are encouraged to journey into a deep and critical examination of their own motives, actions and beliefs and then to translate newfound strength and confidence into a willingness to act on behalf of others."
I am determined to meet the Hoka Hey challenges ... and be safe! My safety, my success in this challenge is all part of my having "no limits" and in turn, helping young people with Type 1 diabetes achieve their "no limits dreams" in life.
I would be honored to have you donate to them and their cause.
