Race for A Cure- Gwennie Get Better

From Ross Stewart

We're raising money in support of our friend Gwen by running in the Columbus half marathon. All of the money raised will be donated to PA foundation to help find a cure for Propionic Acidemia.

More Info

Propionic Acidemia is a rare disorder in which individuals can not break down protein.  In many cases PA can damage the brain, heart, and liver, cause seizures and delays to normal development like walking and talking.  If not constantly monitored, the effects are devastating.

Gwen first became very ill with Propionic Acidemia at only two days old and is managing thus far to beat all of the odds. She is very brave, has an endless capacity to forgive, an amazing will to live, & a beautiful spirit from God that has touched the lives of hundreds.  She is truly a miracle.

Update #2

Our campaign went over the half way point this weekend! Thank you so much for your generosity and continued support!

Gwen also had a busy weekend. She spent her time running, playing, swimming, laughing, and hosting a lady bug funeral. <3
