More Info

When I visited the Brooklyn Community Pride Center earlier this summer I was amazed by the amount of services and support the Center provided Brooklyn's LGBTQ community on the shoestring budget. The fancy, glitzy Center in Manhattan felt like another world. Here, in Brooklyn, a Center existed with a primary purpose of helping those in our community who need it most. I was quickly inspired to volunteer - and was amazed by the passion and drive of all of the volunteers to help our community.

Not only does the Center provide a safe space for everyone, they also provide services and support to those in our community who are most at risk for homeless, joblessness, and struggle with finding services for physical and mental health.

I have dedicated my October to helping the Brooklyn Community Pride Center reach their goals to help those in need.

All of our donations will go to directly benefit those in need through toiletries, services (such as Free WiFi, computer access, printer access), and health services. The Center is so diverse in its offerings, and if you have a special way you want your donation to be spent, please mark that down in your donation! No donation is too small - give what you can!

Help me in supporting the Center this October as we work to help those in our own community!

From the Center...

The Brooklyn Community Pride Center provides support and services to the borough’s LGBTQ community through original programming and in partnership with existing organizations. The Brooklyn Community Pride Center provides a safe, common space offering physical and mental health services, social support, recreational and cultural programming, as well as being a hub of information for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals and families in Brooklyn.
