Phoebe needs a number of tests to diagnose sleep issues that are very likely complicating her Asperger's symptoms. I can't do it on my own.

Phoebe has always had a tenuous relationship with sleep. When she was 2 and a half I took her to the neurologist after her doctor expressed concerns regarding what looked like absence, or petit mal, seizures. After a battery of tests we were instructed to start a strict regimen of sleep consisting of 12 hours at night and at least an hour nap every day... This made a huge improvement in the occurrence of these episodes and helped Phoebe function better; however, Even with 12 hours of sleep at night this 8 year old still has a difficulty feeling rested, waking up, and has emotional and anxious episodes in school. Some of this can be attributed to her placement on the autism spectrum, but as she has been exposed to more teachers and therapists, it has recommended by most of them that we re-visit her neurologist and look into the possibility of the need for a sleep study. That appointment was last Tuesday, and the Neurologist agrees that her symptoms are consistent with a couple of sleep disorders and believes that if we were to pinpoint the sleep disorder that we may be able to ease some of the issues the Phoebe faces. The problem is that her father's insurance has changed significantly this year and we not only have and insane deductible but are also responsible for 20% after that and, though I am on a fixed income, he expects me to pay half. I have applied for disability for the kids and been turned down once already (as I'm told that happens) and am trying again, but this has taken a ridiculous amount of time and Phoebe needs help. Anything anyone can put in is appreciated. I hate to ask, but I don't know what else to do.
