Pakathon is a unique event in the tech and social enterprise space:
- Scale: A synchronous global event being hosted across 16 different cities in the U.S., Canada, and Pakistan
- Engage: A platform for the Pakistani diaspora and the global professional community to contribute actionable, tangible ideas to create change in Pakistan
- Rebrand: Draw focus to the growing startup ecosystem and change the conversation around Pakistan
About Pakathon NYC
PakathonNYC is calling all developers, designers, marketers and strategists on Sept 26-28
for a synchronous hackathon weekend taking place in 16 cities
globally. Teams will come up with a social impact idea for Pakistan and
transform it into a working prototype and business plan. Projects will
be formulated along one of the following tracks: health, education,
retail, human rights, or finance. The winning NYC team will participate
in the global Pakathon event in October to compete for prizes of up to
$10,000 to implement projects and turn their social impact vision into
reality.
