As most children, my 4 year old has fears sometimes, a passing feeling of being unsafe, scared of the bad guys.
When I explained to him some families overseas had that feeling all of the time, and decided to walk for days to find a safe home, he got it. And he felt for them.
My goal as a parent is to foster empathy, compassion and gratitude. What better way to do that than to put ourselves in our fellow humans from Syria's shoes, and do something, anything, to help. If you relate to this as a parent or family, help us out by:
1/ Have your own lemonade stand!
2/ Come by our lemonade stand (NEW DATE DUE TO RAIN: Sun Oct 11, Hastings Ranch shopping center, Pasadena, 10-1pm).
3/ Donate with the organizations below or thru us here.
4/ Share the link with your network.
Thank you for your support!
