"Among Indiana University's many historic strengths is the Program in Neuroscience, which has been making innovative interdisciplinary connections since 1965, when it was established as one of the first of its kind in the U.S. Research from this program tackles issues from eliminating pain to constructing the human connectome to better understanding the mechanisms that shape human behavior. The Program in Neuroscience addresses health and mental wellness issues in the state of Indiana and far beyond."
- Provost and Executive Vice President Lauren Robel
As a program within a Research I university, we pride ourselves on providing both undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to learn from renowned faculty members, and with state-of-the-art equipment in first-rate facilities. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of neuroscience, the majority of our students are dual major candidates.
For a student to truly embrace what is at their fingertips, it requires dedication. Such dedication makes it difficult for students to be employed, in addition to attending college. The Neuroscience Student Support Fund was created to address this problem. This fund provides scholarships and/or fellowships to students pursuing degrees in Neuroscience. Your gift will allow a Neuroscience student the opportunity to make the most of all that the Program in Neuroscience has to offer.
