I lost my father in a traumatic and unexpected way — and nothing has been the same since. The grief wasn’t just heavy... it was consuming. It still is. Some days, it’s hard to breathe. Hard to function. I felt lost in a sea of pain, anxiety, and depression that I couldn’t escape.
And in the middle of that darkness, I found one small light — creating. Making custom mugs became my lifeline. A way to stay grounded when everything inside me was falling apart. It wasn’t just about art. It was about survival.
That’s how My Custom Cup was born. Every single cup I make — I pour my whole heart into it. I design them, print them, pack and ship them myself. Every curve of every handle, every bold graphic, every quiet quote — it’s all a reflection of the healing I’m still fighting for. I show up even when I’m broken, even when the tears are still fresh, because this is more than a business.
It’s a tribute.

To the way he never gave up — and never wanted me to, either.
He believed in me. He would have told me to keep going. To take the pain and make something beautiful from it. That’s what I’m doing now — one cup at a time.
