Kryn Miner, a Military Veteran who proudly served his country for 27 years, lost his final battle in April of 2014; fighting his own war against PTSD.
Kryn who was a dear friend of mine, was a coach at Crossfit Burlington in Vermont. Having had a one on one work out with Kryn, I owe my love for Crossfit to him and will remember his always for the man who could convince even the laziest person to get up and move.
While I am new to the Crossfit community, I know that the community as a whole does what they can to support our troops past and present. So in honor of Kryn and his memory, I will be completing the 'Murph' Work out at Crossfit Cobalt this Memorial Day (05/26/2014).
I will be donating $1 for each minute it takes me to complete the work out, and hope that you feel generous enough to donate as well. 100% of the donations will be going to the Lone Survivor Foundation, that Kryn and his family have worked with over the past year to help Veterans find some peace when returning home from war.
Help me, help them. While I'll be donating a $1, Donate what you can. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
Pledge to donate 1¢, 25¢, 50¢, 75¢, $1 or more for every minute!
