Each one of our lives is filled
with small moments, moments of joy, peace, love and HOPE. HOPE brings us together no matter who we are.
It’s the tie that binds us no matter where we live. Now you can share the
moments of your life, your moments of hope with a child or family in need.
Through this campaign, we want to show how the money we spend on every day life luxuries can become a moment of hope in someone's life. Often times, we don't think twice about our daily coffee from the local coffee shop and how that money could provide the hope that is needed in a time of crisis. This campaign isn't about making you feel bad about your spending, but becoming more aware of the impact our dollars do have. While ten dollars may not seem like a lot, here at Home Sweet Home Ministries, it can provide a days worth of meals to a homeless veteran.
We want to challenge you to think outside the box. What can your money do? How can you make a difference in this community right now? We invite you to come alongside us and become a Moment of Hope for our world.
Please consider donating to our campaign, where 100% of the net proceeds will be split between Share Hope and Home Sweet Home Ministries.
About Home Sweet Home Ministries: In 1917, Billy Shelper- a simple man had a powerful vision. His vision was to save the lost and help the hurting with a message of love and compassion. Today, that vision has become an organization dedicated to life transformation through programs designed to help individuals find God's purpose in their lives. Home Sweet Home serves Christ by providing food, shelter, and hope to the hungry, homeless and hurting in our community. Our vision is to be a ministry of refuge and renewal powered by Jesus Christ.
About Show Hope: A ministry founded in 2003 by Steven Curtis Chapman and his wife
Mary Beth to help care for the millions of orphans around the world, Show Hope™
helps to provide waiting orphans with forever families by giving adoption aid
grants to adoptive families. In just ten years, Show Hope is an internationally
recognized voice for orphan advocacy and has given more than 4,000 financial
grants, affecting the lives of children from 50+ different countries, including
the U.S. In addition to giving financial grants, Show Hope also empowers
families, churches and communities with adoption and orphan care resources and
advocacy efforts to change the world for orphans.
Show Hope, expanding its remarkable worldwide impact, also
provides for orphans with special needs in China through its Special Care
Centers. One of these centers is Maria’s Big House of Hope, a six-story healing
home facility located in Luoyang, China. Opened in the summer of 2009, its
mission is to provide the highest level of care for orphans who are in
desperate need of surgeries and medical attention, thus enabling the children
to thrive and increase the orphans' chances of being adopted. With additional
centers opening in the Henan province of China, to date the organization has
been able to provide medical care for more than 1,000 orphans with special
needs.
Along
with leading mission trips to China and Haiti, with consecutive Red Bus Project
tours each spring and fall, to conferences and resources that equip foster and
adoptive families, to a new artists and advocates program, Show Hope celebrated
an incredible ten years in ministry in 2013 and looks ahead to an even brighter
future.
