Mission: Love Knows No Borders

Hello, my name is Alice, and I’m reaching out for help during a deeply challenging time in my life. For years, I’ve struggled with the impact of emotional abuse and stalking, and now, after a difficult breakup and facing homelessness, I have a chance to turn everything around. I’m asking for your support so I can finally build a life of peace, stability, and love with my partner, Mark.In 2018, I made the difficult decision to leave my abusive family behind. For years, I carried the weight of their emotional abuse and the trauma of being stalked. It took a long time to heal, and in 2023, I finally felt like I could start to rebuild my life. But after a falling out with an ex-partner last year, I’m now facing homelessness in the US, with nowhere to go by March 30th.In the midst of all this, I found love. My partner, Mark, is a Scottish citizen, and we’ve been in a long-distance relationship. We’ve spent so much time apart, but we both know that we’re meant to be together. Now, we’re ready to take the next step. We want to live together and start a civil partnership, finally building the peaceful and loving life we’ve dreamed of.I have three beloved kitties who are my constant source of joy and comfort. They’ve been my companions through the hardest moments of my life, and I can’t imagine going through this journey without them. However, bringing them with me will be an added expense, and I need to ensure they’re cared for properly during this transition.But I need your help.The journey to start over isn’t easy. The visa process, travel expenses, and everything else involved are more than I can afford on my own. I’ve been selling personal items to try to fund this journey, but even then, I can’t manage to cover all the costs. I also struggle with mental health issues that affect my daily life and prevent me from being able to work, so I’m unable to rely on income to make this possible.I’m asking for your support to cover:- Visa application fees- Travel costs for both me and my kitties- Basic living expenses while I wait for my visa to be processed- The cost of bringing my kitties with me so we can stay together as a familyWithout your help, I don’t know where I’ll turn.
