Memorial Day Fundraiser for VFW Post 8400

Hello, my name is Chris Cichy and I am the Commander of VFW Post 8400 located at the Land O Lakes, WI Veterans Center. The Veteran's Center and its resident VFW Post, Auxiliary, and AMVETs organizations are all Veteran's non-profit organizations. The building is in need of essential maintenance to the roof, and outer structure. Additionally, the Post Veteran's memorial is in danger of falling over. Originally constructed of wood, years of weather and insect damage have made a complete replacement with a more durable material necessary. The memorial commemorates local service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. In some instances, these service members were buried at sea or in a foreign country, and this memorial is the only marker in the United States for the family to visit.   This fundraising campaign's goal is to accomplish these repairs without effecting our support to our local veterans or our contributions to local charities.
