I spent 3 months of my life living and working on small island in central Philippines called Malapascua. This small fishing community is inhabited by less than 1,000 people, and only a handful of tourists at a time. Tourists that come are mainly scuba divers that come to see the Thresher Sharks which are seen in the waters around the island.
Last week, a Super Typhoon crossed right over Malapascua with winds up to 190 mph. The storm decimated the island which is still out of communication.
Please help by supporting this remote island in their time of need.
