On Jan. 30th 2020, Mace Thomas was in an accident that paralyzed her. The past year began her road to recovery, and her goals moving forward need a jump-start. Our project will outfit her home to her needs.

Hello friends. I hope you will all support me in the coming months with a new project I am heading up, or at least forgive the inevitable repetitive asking for help.
As most of you know a little over a year ago my ex-wife, Mace Thomas (Koenig), was in a terrible car accident leaving her paralyzed from the neck down. Since that time she has made great strides in recovery, and now has new goals for her altered future. She is back home in Florida and her husband has worked very hard to care for her, work full-time, and alter their home to her needs.
She intends to complete a new degree program that will allow her to stay in the dental field, and has taken the first steps to accomplishing this. She can control her chair, and with such means eventually a computer, and some of the needed updates to her home have been installed. There is however a lot that still needs to be done, so that she and Richard can live a little easier. Our goal is to implement needed home improvements, get all rooms organized and outfitted, finish Richards project spaces, landscape outside both for low-care plantings and give a more pleasant space for mace to spend time outdoors. In addition, we have a Wish list of things that are above needs and organization, and give Richard a much needed vacation. We will be seeking funding, materials, and volunteers for a week-long event in June to implement everything.
With that in mind I invite you to begin keeping up with, and spreading the message, of maceinspires.org. As of tonight, we have out FaceBook page, Maceinspires.org and our fundly.com site, https://fundly.com/maceinspires, operational. Our website will be up in the coming days, and in the following weeks and months will have regular updates.
