After this past weeks severe flooding left parts of Louisiana under water, thousands of animals have been displaced. A team of 3 skilled animal welfare workers will depart from Central New Jersey on Sunday, August 21, and drive to Livingston Parish, Louisiana, to work alongside The Livingston Parish Animal Shelter, to rescue, rehabilitate, and reunite displaced and injured animals.
Thousands of animals are still trapped in flooded homes, treading water in flooded streets, and desperately need help. Once rescued, these animals will need to be transported to safety, and receive urgent medical care.
We will be spending the donated money on an extra large van, to transport animals, and the fuel to get us down south and back up. Absolutely ALL money donated will go towards helping these displaced animals in need.
Please donate, and assist us in rescuing these helpless animals!
