Overdose Awareness Day is a global event held on August 31 each year. Used to raise awareness of drug overdoses in the world. Acknowledging the grief and trauma it causes on friends and families. In 2017, I lost three loved ones which included my fiancée due to heroin overdose. This is my way to grieve those I lost and also make it aware that this is a disease that must be cured!!

Overdose Awareness Walkathon created in Staten Island New York from a young Woman who has lost her fiancée, daughter in law and also plenty of friends to heroin overdose. Candlelight vigil with a small walk along the lake side of Clove lake Parks to be held on August 31, 2020 8Pm. I kindly invite anyone willing to join for an hour of their time to help spread awareness to this deadly disease called addiction. Any donations received will go to OverdoseDay.
