The Peoria Sunset Lions would like ask for donations of funds to complete three projects this Christmas Season. #1 - Gift the Luke AFB Library with art supplies so the families can create art projects together. Their new art closet is now empty :( and because of procurement restrictions, they can't directly reach out to the community for help. #2 Treats For Troops - we'd like to put together 250 treat bags for incoming/current military personnel who visit the base for training during the holiday months. Each bag will include a Holiday Thank You For Your Service note from a local Peoria child. #3 Sponsor three young, struggling military families with a deployed family member for the Christmas holiday. Yes, your donation is tax deductable.
