Krystal Relief Fund

From Mark Pitman

Krystal needs to have surgery in Seattle to remove her kidney cancer. We are needing to defray some of the cost. If you can help we are more grateful than we can express.

Update #2

So, I have a little more information on Krystal's kidney cancer journey.

We haven't had any news so far because the process was hung up in an insurance review. And that is just for the initial consult. And this is with the approval marked URGENT!

Once surgery is scheduled the insurance will review the surgery as well. Argh!

Our insurance did say that we would have an answer on the approval tomorrow after 4:30.

We want to express our deep appreciation for the donations so far. It means a lot.

More Info

Many of you have been following Krystal's health problems for a while, and your support during this trial has been a blessing.

Recently, along with the other challenges she is facing, Krystal was diagnosed with kidney cancer. The surgery is complicated by an abnormally shaped kidney and some of her lung and heart issues. So, her doctors feel the best place to have the surgery is in Seattle.

This is great because she'll have the best care available in the region. However, it is much more costly for me to be up there with her, and it's unthinkable for her to be alone during all of this.

So, we're asking for your help. The money will be used to help to defray the cost of staying in Seattle during the consultation, the surgery, and during the recovery.

Any amount will help, and we truly appreciate all of the love and support from everyone. Thank you so much!

Update #1

Thanks to those who have already donated! It is incredibly generous and we are grateful,

Also - I changed some of the params of the campaign. 60 days was too long so I changed the time to 11 days. The surgery will likely happen fast. I changed the amount downword since the campaign is shorter.

Thanks again for the love and support. If you can share the campaign as appropriate that would be great.
