I'm raising money for the Partners for Youth with Disabilities to support children with disabilities who may not have the support that they need and deserve.

As some of you know, I am currently training for the 2014 Boston Marathon. I wanted my efforts, including 5:00 am wake-ups on these cold winter mornings, to not just be a personal achievement, but also to support a cause that is near and dear to my heart. My older sister Jenna is a huge part of who I am today. She was born with Down Syndrome and has fortunately been given a huge support system and various opportunities that have continued to help her be as independent as possible. Jenna automatically had three best friends in her siblings. As many people with disabilities do not have this, I want to support the Partners for Youth with Disabilities, to help provide support and friendships to those who may not have it built into their day to day lives. Please help me in supporting this wonderful organization!
