Central TX July 4 Flood Mutual Aid

Recent Updates

Update #1

Since July 7, HOCTX has been providing mutual aid to Texans impacted by the floods. This has been made possible by YOUR generous donation. Thank you!

Please join us for a FREE flood mutual aid benefit concert on Saturday, August 2 (tomorrow!) at Saturn Cocktail Club: 906 Congress Ave., ATX 78701

We would like to personally thank you for donating to the mutual aid fund. With the fund, we purchased food, clothing, phone plans, and medical supplies for folks who lost everything in the flood. We have been able to drop off medical supplies to doctors and nurses on the ground, cleanup and recovery supplies to veterans and volunteers doing SAR and cleanup, and in conjunction with Austin Mutual Aid we have been housing folks who lost their homes and RVs in hotels for almost a month now. We couldn't have done it without you!

Doors at 4 PM, Music at 5 PM. Our new Mutual Aid shirts, designed by a local artist, will be available on-site. I would love to shake your hand, and we hope you'll enjoy the music from cool local bands! Please come and bring your friends (21+)

P.S. If you're still feeling generous, we are trying to raise a last 15K to be able to help people transition into new RVs, apartments, and working vehicles. If you can't donate right now, no worries and thank you so much for your support!

More Info

Hands Off Central TX is raising funds and resources for mutual aid including housing, food, transportation (gas) and medical needs for Central Texans affected by the July 4 flood.

Supplies will be distributed based on asks from the counties affected by the floods with an emphasis on needs not being filled by local organizations and local government.

If you or your business can offer resources other than cash (housing, vehicles, clothing, medical supplies, water, food, pet supplies +) please email us at [email protected] or message us on Instagram @HandsOffCentralTX

All donations are tax deductible. Thank you for caring for our community.

Transparency: Receipts will be published on our website HandsOffCentralTX.org and this fundraiser will be used specifically and only for mutual aid for our neighbors affected by the July 4 flood damage to lives, homes, businesses, and vehicles.
