As a small business owner and taxpayer, I know firsthand the effects government policy can have on a growing family. The people of Warren County need stability, efficiency and common sense solutions from their local government, not another bill to pay. That’s why I will focus on fiscal responsibility while finding new ways to save money and make our government more efficient.
Over the past 38 years, I have benefited immensely from this county and its people. God has blessed me with gainful employment, a lovely wife and two healthy children. Now I want to give back what was so freely given to me. To ensure that my sons and future generations enjoy the same opportunities for prosperity that I did, I will provide long-term strategies for success and stability in county government.
As a County Commissioner, the following issues will be my top priorities:
— Engage in fiscal discipline to prevent new taxes from being levied on struggling taxpayers and ensure the county lives within its means.
— Create the highest level of transparency possible and make public information clearly accessible. All decisions should be easily understood by voters.
— Refuse campaign contributions from all Political Action Committees as well as any large individual donations. Public officials should serve the people, not wealthy private interests.
