ABOUT A-T CHILDREN'S PROJECT
Run for kids who can't! For every $100 you raise, you’ll get an additional raffle entry for the iPad Air. You’ll be giving hope to kids like 4-year-old Wyatt who has A-T. At the race, you’ll meet Wyatt whose parents will push him in his adaptive stroller in the 5K race. Thank you to our event hosts: Maggie and Mike Watson, Wyatt’s parents, and Gabby and Matt Drobrick, whose cousins Josh (age 11) and Brooke (age 8) have A-T.
The A-T Children’s Project raises funds to find life-improving therapies and a cure for ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T), a rare, fatal disease that gives children the combined symptoms of muscular dystrophy, cystic fibrosis, immune system problems, and cancer.
The A-T Children’s Project is a nonprofit organization that raises funds to support and coordinate biomedical research projects, scientific conferences, and a clinical center aimed at finding a cure for ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T). A-T is a fatal genetic disease that attacks children, causing progressive loss of muscle control, immune system problems, and a strikingly high rate of cancer.
