Today is Ma, Ri Feng's funeral. May she rest in peace. The total amount from this fundraiser ($2500 as of 12/29/2014) was given to Ri Feng's mother. The family would like to thank you all for your support and generous donations.

Ms. Ma and her family are friends of our family. I heard the bad news from my mom today when she called to ask me to do something "charitable". I thought she wanted me to donate money, but she asked for baby formula. It broke my heart knowing that this 2 month old baby will never taste her mother's milk or feel her mother's touch again. The father is not in the picture. I've created this fundraiser in hopes that we can lend a helping hand to the Ma family through this tragedy. The money raised will be given to the grandparents of the baby to subsidize funeral costs and baby supplies. If anyone would like to donate diapers/formula, that would be appreciated too (you can message me for mailing address). I will bring it to them. Thank you all for your kindness and generosity.

Thanks to Gina Mendez, Carla Rothenberg, Steive, Toby, and Lucas, and other anonymous donors for sending packages(invoices didn't have names ). I've received baby clothes, diapers wipes,, formula, toys, A&D ointment, books, and other useful baby supplies. Ms. Ma's funeral will be on Monday, Dec.29. At that time, I'll withdraw all the money donations from this fundraiser and give it to the Ma family at the funeral.

Hi everyone,
I just received a delivery of diapers, baby formula, and other baby goodies today. Many thanks to the Weiss family and the other anonymous donors (shipping invoice didn't have names)who sent them. I will deliver these to the Ma family this weekend.
