The Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation is working to revitalize the sport of basketball in Guyana. In this regard we need support from the Guyana Government and also Individuals and Businesses in Guyana and the Guyanese Diaspora.
The pinnacle event for basketball in the Caribbean Region is the Caribbean Basketball Confederation Championships. The GABF needs to raise US$60,000.00 to provide our young Guyanese men and women with the opportunity to proudly represent Guyana.
Our young men and women have been preparing over the last several weeks to attend the basketball championships scheduled for July 1-12, 2014 in Tortola, British Virgin Islands (BVI).
We ask you to visit guyanabasketball.com and make a contribution of at least US$20.00 to help us raise the funds needed.
