Trojan Cheer aims to provide a fun, inspiring, and rewarding cheerleading experience
to interested USC students. Our primary
goal is to represent the University of Southern California at competitions
across the country, from state to national levels. We work to portray the strong work ethic,
dedication, and traditions that are important to USC. We constantly push the boundaries and
continue to set new goals for the program.
Our
club program has grown tremendously since our inaugural season in 2003. After 11 years of hard work and dedication,
we are looking toward even more great things in our 12th year. Last season, Trojan Cheer competed at the United
Spirit Association (USA) Collegiate Nationals in Anaheim, CA for the first
time, where we finished as one of the top six teams in the small coed division.
This was a huge success and great finish for our first showing at this national
competition. Currently we have 18 female and two male athletes.
We
are an accomplished team on the floor, but the success of our program would not
be possible without the support of our family and friends. Trojan Cheer is organized and led primarily by
students. While individual fundraising
and membership dues account for a large portion of our team expenses, we depend
heavily on the generosity of our donors to finance a large portion of our
competition and travel expenses. Your
gift is vital to the ongoing development of our team as we continue to advance
as an organization and hopefully make it to the most prestigious collegiate
cheerleading national competition of the season, the National Cheerleaders
Association (NCA) Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida. Attending NCA Nationals in Florida for the
first time in Trojan Cheer history is our goal for the 2014-2015 season.
